Your title does two jobs at once: it tells YouTube what the video is about, and it convinces a human to click. Lead with the exact thing people search (the game + "script"), then add a reason to click. Keep the keyword in the first few words so it survives being cut off on mobile.

• Keyword in the first 40 characters — before mobile truncation.
• Under ~60 characters so nothing important gets cut.
• One clear hook: a headline feature, "undetected," "2026," or a curiosity angle.
• Write for a person first. A title no one clicks won't rank no matter how many keywords it has.

Only the first 2–3 lines show before "show more," so put the value and the keyword up top. Then list the features and drop your timestamps in — YouTube reads all of it to understand the video. Work your main keyword in 2–3 times naturally; don't stuff it.

• Line 1: what it is + main keyword.
• Lines 2–3: the features people came to see.
• Then timestamps, then your link and socials.

Tags are a minor signal now, but they still help YouTube place borderline searches. Use your exact keyword, close variations, and the game name. Don't tag unrelated trending terms — that gets you nowhere and can hurt you.

• 2–3 exact-match tags for the main keyword.
• 3–5 long-tail phrases pulled straight from your video.
• Your channel name as a branded tag.

Captions turn everything you say into text YouTube can index. Let YouTube auto-generate them, then skim for errors — especially game names and feature words it tends to mangle. Bonus: captioned videos hold attention longer.

• More of your spoken keywords get indexed.
• Accessible to viewers watching on mute.
• Fix auto-caption mistakes on the important words.

Chapters let viewers jump to the feature they care about, which lifts average watch time — one of the strongest ranking signals there is. They also tell YouTube exactly how your video is structured.

Start at 0:00 and keep them in order or chapters won't activate.

YouTube transcribes your audio, so actually say the keyword — ideally in the first 10 seconds. It reinforces everything your title and description already claim.

Your click-through rate feeds directly back into how much YouTube pushes the video. High CTR → more impressions → more views. Thumbnails are seen tiny, so make them loud and readable at a glance.

• High contrast — must pop at 200px wide.
• 2–4 words max, huge and readable.
• Create curiosity; don't fake shock or bait.
• Keep a consistent style so your channel is recognizable.

The file name is read at upload, so rename it before you post. And add 3–5 relevant hashtags — they show above your title and group your video with related content.

Also worth doing: pin a comment with your keyword and a question to spark replies — comments in the first hour give the algorithm an early nudge.
